CourseGraphic This course is for new miners in a surface mine.  Students in this course will receive an introduction to the mine environment they will be working in, as well as receive training on mine site rules, hazard recognition and avoidance in a surface mine environment, health and safety aspects of mining, site rules and hazard reporting, and the rights of miners in the workplace.
