This course aims to introduce and instruct teachers in physical science for high school indigenous and Hispanic learners using the Next Generation of Science Standards.  Teachers will specifically learn about curriculum and development within NGSS, as well as assessment and teaching strategies to use in the classroom, during this course.  Additionally, educators will be offered example units, lesson plans concentrating on physical science for indigenous learners.
