Using Assigned Reading Effectively in the Classroom

This training course is designed to provide general education public school teachers in New Mexico with effective strategies for incorporating assigned reading into their classroom instruction. By implementing a variety of assigned reading materials and employing diverse instructional methods, educators will learn how to enhance students' reading comprehension, critical thinking, and analytical reasoning skills. Through interactive modules, participants will explore practical approaches to engage students with assigned reading and foster deeper understanding of texts.
