This training course is designed to equip secondary educators and TESOL endorsed educators in New Mexico with effective strategies for supporting struggling readers in grades 9-12. Participants will learn how to incorporate literacy growth objectives across various subject areas to better serve high school students who are facing challenges in reading comprehension and fluency. Through interactive modules and role-play scenarios, educators will explore research-based interventions and practice selecting appropriate strategies to meet the diverse needs of struggling readers.
